Offline Brushing History
In order to analyze the brushing habits of the user, the Smart Toothbrush and mobile application have to be synced at least once every 3 days to register any offline brushing sessions. Any offline brushing sessions before that will not be synced with the application. It is recommended that the application and toothbrush are synchronized every day.
The application will seamlessly sync with the toothbrush in the background every time it is launched as long as they are within a distance of 3 meters from one another apart and the mobile phone has bluetooth enabled. The anticipation of the user to view their Nilo stats and earned rewards after a day’s brushing sessions will ensure that most users naturally keep their app and brush in-sync.
Not syncing your brushing history will have the following negative effects:
Reduced Earnings: The brush sessions recorded will not be credited with their earned BXP after the 3-day window closes. This prevents Nilo from acquiring the BXP necessary to progress and the account will not receive their weekly NLT.
Full Health Decay: If no brush events have been recorded for 3 days, the Nilo will enter a state of full decay, effectively reducing the Nilo's health points (HP) to 0%. More information about Nilo Health Points is provided in the Nilo Health section.
