Nilo Avatars
Nilo Avatars (abbr.: Nilos) are the virtual characters that accompany users during their brushing sessions. A Nilo, once connected to the app, allows users to earn BXP and additional rewards just for brushing their teeth. At the time of purchase, Nilos are received as eggs. The eggs hatch when users connect them to their Nilo app. Each Nilo has its own attributes and rarity level.
Furthermore, Nilos are upgraded to higher levels on achieving certain brushing milestones. The level, attributes and rarity of a Nilo will influence its BXP earn-rate, reward box drops, and decay-resistance.
Attributes
The dynamic attributes of the Nilo avatars are their Intelligence, Luck, and Protection. When a Nilo is first hatched from its egg or revealed in an auction, these attribute points are distributed at random. Then after each level up, the owner of the Nilo avatar will allocate the earned points to the attribute of their choice. The Nilo attributes are permanent once the level up is confirmed and this makes each Nilo unique in how they impact the ecosystem.
Intelligence (I) Higher Intelligence provides the Nilo with a higher efficiency rate during a BXP-earning brushing session.
Luck (L) - Higher Luck increases the chances of acquiring rewards after each BXP-earning brushing session.
Protection (P) - Higher Protection better guards the Nilo from the daily HP decay. The protection ensures that the Nilo earns the max BXP even when its health is in decay.
Rarity
When Nilos are first minted on the blockchain, they can have any one of the four different rarity classes. The rarity of a Nilo grants it extra attribute points and a higher energy level, boosting its efficiency and enabling it to earn more BXP during each brushing session. The appearance of Nilos is distinguishable based on their rarity, and as new collections are released and community art is featured, the various types of Nilo appearances will continue to evolve.
