Health Points
The Nilo avatars have a Health Point (HP) stat that is represented by 5 red hearts. Each heart represents 20% of Nilo's health.
The health of the Nilo depends on the brushing habits of the account holder. If the user does not brush the required minimum of 2 times per day, the Nilo will suffer from decay. The decay is represented by the gradual removal of the hearts. The calculation for decay is that for every missed brushing session, 20% of Nilo's HP will be removed which accounts for one heart. If a full day of brushing is missed, then the Nilo will lose 2 hearts or 40% of its HP. After three days of missed brushing, Nilo's HP will be effectively at 0%.
Game Note: Specific numbers are subject to adjustment due to game balancing.
Decay Affects BXP Earnings: The Nilo’s earnable BXP is affected when the Nilo is in Decay by the same rate. For example, the user can only earn 80% of their maximum BXP when his HP is 80%, effectively missing out on 20% of their BXP earnings.
Restoring the Nilo’s HP: The Nilo's HP can be restored by using various Health Items, which come in different strengths and restore varying amounts of HP. The Health Items can be purchased in the App.
Protection Attribute Effect on Decay: The Protection attribute counters the effects of the decay when calculating BXP earnings. For example, a fully-leveled Nilo with a maxed-out protection attribute might be able to protect against a day of HP decay.
Offline brush history must be synced before the end of the day, according to the user's registered timezone, in order to prevent daily HP decay.
