Overview

Nilo Smart Toothbrush, the AI model, and their companion Nilo avatars are three of the core components of the ecosystem. The Nilo avatars have been inspired by the concept of “Tamagotchis” or digital pets, which gained immense popularity across the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In the Nilo ecosystem, Nilo avatars are the digital pets that users have to care for in order to earn rewards.

The care of Nilo avatars entails brushing with the Nilo App at least twice every day and covering all the dental zones while doing the same. You will be able to brush with the Nilo Smart Toothbrush or with your brush and the Audio recognition model within the App. Each qualifying brushing experience will earn the user rewards which can be used for upgrading the Nilo avatar, gaining access to new Nilo avatars, availing discounts on Nilo oral care products, and exclusive merchandise from brands. Failure to brush properly or missing brushing sessions will lead to decay of the Nilo avatar and loss of rewards.

In total, The Nilo ecosystem has 5 core components - Smart toothbrush, Nilo Assets, Application, AI algorithm, and the Marketplace, along with several sub-components. These components work together to create the Web3 Nilo ecosystem that innovatively inspires users to follow a healthy oral care regimen.

The complete ecosystem has been explained in detail in the following sections.
